Pair of Early 18th Century Bavarian Walnut Commodes with Exotic Wood Inlay
This extraordinary pair of early 18th century Bavarian commodes have exaggerated serpentine and Bombay shaped fronts with three drawers. Made of Circassian walnut with intricate inlaid floral and geometric marquetry in exotic woods the tops of each depict a female figure of liberty. Great proportions, retaining the original bronze hardware.
