17th Century Hand Painted Blue Swiss Baroque Multi-Drawer Cabinet of Curiosity

"Cabinet of Curiosity". This is a fabulous addition to your collection and for your collection. These multi-drawer cabinets were fashionable with eccentric European collectors in the 17th century. Paneled ends with handwrought carrying handles. Two paneled doors decorated with 17th century painted figures hunting beside a lake with a castle and the Alps in the background, conceal twenty-three molded drawers and a small pair of cupboard doors. Retains an extraordinary pale blue color with the original steel handles, locks, and key. Mounted on a similarly decorated stand with turned legs and shaped stretchers.
