19th Century French Provincial Pearwood Oval Tilt-Top Wine Tasting Table

19th century French Provincial oval vineyard table. These tables, known as “wine tasting” tables were made own all the wine producing regions. This table come from the Western Loire Valley. This was the main area of pear production. Chenin Blanc wine is produced and a champagne like drink called “Poiré” is made from the pears. Made of beautiful pearwood with a good color and patination.
